Maternal-fetal attachment (MFA) during pregnancy is recognized as a variable related to subsequent mother’s health and caring behaviors towards the child even after birth. Research conducted in this field aimed at investigating MFA predictors reported mixed results reported so far, suggesting the need of further studies to address which variables support a higher MFA. In the current proceeding preliminary data on the association between maternal fetal-attachment, depressive symptoms, couple adjustment and gestational age are reported.
