The teaching of elementary quantum physics in secondary schools is a long-time debated and fascinating educational problem, which in Italy has become even more urgent due to the recently enacted reform of the Physics curriculum. In this article we describe an introductory educational path in quantum physics, which we tested in teacher training courses, and which is ultimately intended to be used with high school students. Our approach is based on Feynman's sum-over-paths method, and makes use of interactive simulations realized with the open-source software GeoGebra. Through this path we aim at providing students with both a clear view of the conceptual and epistemological structure of quantum theory, and the tools for solving some of its typical problems.
