Streptomycin (STP) is an antibiotic used in beekeeping for the bacterial infections, therefore residues can be found in honey. A procedure to quantify STP residues in honey by HPLC-MS/MS with electrospray ionisation (ESI) was developed; the mass spectrometry allowed eliminating most of sampele workup.
