The study of mass spectral behaviour (EI,DCI, ESI) of several known avermectins allowed us to charcterize the structures of two unknown molecules. Rhe new avermectins are: 25-de(1-methylpropyl)-25-(1-ethylpropyl) and 12-demethyl-12-ethyl derivates of ivermectin B1a. Data were confirmed by NMR spectroscopy.
