This paper analyzes the electromagnetic field induced by plane wave exposure on an anthropomorphic arm model at 24 GHz. Two different conditions are considered, Impinging-kside and Impinging-ktop, on the arm. Results show significant differences in EM field distribution depending on the incident wave. For Impinging-kside, the external arm is exposed, while the internal side is shielded; for Impinging-ktop, both sides of the arm are exposed. The results highlight the influence of anatomical curvature and tissue composition on EM field penetration, emphasizing the need for realistic human models in mmWave dosimetry.

Abstract
This paper analyzes the electromagnetic field induced by plane wave exposure on an anthropomorphic arm model at 24 GHz. Two different conditions are considered, Impinging-kside and Impinging-ktop, on the arm. Results show significant differences in EM field distribution depending on the incident wave. For Impinging-kside, the external arm is exposed, while the internal side is shielded; for Impinging-ktop, both sides of the arm are exposed. The results highlight the influence of anatomical curvature and tissue composition on EM field penetration, emphasizing the need for realistic human models in mmWave dosimetry.File in questo prodotto:
